In the center of Southeast Asia, the nation is renowned for its great food, martial arts, beaches, and many temples. Thailand also has many well-known islands that have numerous tourist resorts.
Religion
In Thailand, Buddhism is highly influenced by traditional ideas that have been introduced into Buddhist cosmology about ancestral and natural spirits. Most Thai people build spirit houses (Thai: ⁇; RTGS: san phra phum), miniature houses outside their homes, where they believe that household spirits live.
